As a supporter of gymnastics around the world and in the NCAA and SEC it is frustrating to see our SC gymnasts leave the state in order to continue their competitive collegiate careers. We need a program here in SC and USC (or Clemson- that should get the competition going) would be the perfect choice.

Gymnastics is a great sport that takes a great deal of discipline and dedication. It’s a sport that is often overlpoked. It can be argued that gymnastics produces the most physically fit athletes in the world.
I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE GYMNATICS AT USC FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER WERE SHE WOUD NOT HAVE TO GO TO AN OUT OF STATE SCHOOL.
Please bring gymnastics back to USC! The SEC has a fantastic competitive conference for this sport and it is such a shame that we are not represented. There is alot of talent in this state going elsewhere for college because we have no team.

With so many great gymnasts in SC, we need collegiant opportunities for these kids!!!! Club gymnastics is a great opportunity to stay involved in the sport, but there aren’t even many of those options in this state!!!! Build a program!!!!!

YES! Make it happen. University of South Carolina needs a NCAA D1 GYMNASTICS TEAM, (men’s and women’s). So much talent and athleticism to utilize. GAMECOCK GYMNASTS would give the University yet another winning team to be proud! I know several high caliber gymnasts and even colligiate coaches just waiting to be a part of the NCAA USC Gamecock Gymnastics team!
We would like to see both men’s and women’s gymnastic. It would be a great wonderful to keep our talent in the state.
It’s a no brainer. Every school in the SEC supports Women’s Gymnastics and there’s certainly plenty of talent on the east coast to support it. Not to mention the fact that women gymnasts are among the best students !
My daughter is very big into gymnastics and also loves Carolina Gamecocks. So if we can get this put back into our states collages so they don’t have to go out of state to continue to do what they love then lets do it. Because how many college kids from SC are going to Georgia right now just because that is the closes collage with Gymnastics. My daughter is only 9 years old so we still have awhile before college but I know this is something she is going to want to continue on with until she can no longer do it. Thanks so much.
Yes, yes, yes ! Gymnasts are amazing athletes and students. This would be a great addition and a natural since almost all SEC schools have womens gymnastics.

We would love to see USC bring gymnastics back to SC! It’s frustrating to see so much talent going out of state because they want to continue their gymnastics career! I have an 11 year old level 9 gymnast that wants to go to USC for medical school but knows she can’t of she wants to continue to do gymnastics! So sad that none of SC university’s have gymnastics!
